DECALS
How do you apply the decals?
1. Apply a tacky base coat to nail and cure in UV light.
2. Cut out decal as close to the design as possible.
3. Soak decal in water for 10-20 seconds.
4. Remove decal from the water and slide decal off backing. Remove excess water lightly with a paper towel.
5. Place decal on nail and smooth decal until all creases are removed. Make sure to not overwork decal. File off any excess decal from edges of nail.
6. Apply base coat to seal design and cure in UV light.
7. Top coat and cure in UV light, then buff nail until smooth. Apply final layer of top coat and cure in UV light.
Can I encapsulate decals?
If encapsulating designs in acrylic, add a layer of base coat and cure in UV light prior to laying acrylic. If this step is skipped, the monomer will cause the designs to bleed.
My decals keep moving around and wont stick, what should I do?
Make sure you apply a sticky base coat and cure for at least 30 seconds in UV light. After removing the decal from the backing, blot it gently to remove excess water.
I followed the application steps and the sides of the decals are lifting when filing off the excess, what should I do?
When filing off the excess decal from the sides of the nail use a downward motion and DO NOT file back and forth. Moving the file back and forth will cause the decal to lift off of the nail. Remember you haven't cured or sealed the edges yet.
STICKERS
How do you apply the stickers?
Please note that your decals will arrive unweeded (with the top layer still attached). This is to keep the decals on the sheet and protect them during shipment.
1. Using tweezers, carefully remove the desired decal from the sheet.
2. Apply the decal to a dry nail surface free from debris/oil and press down firmly.
3. Encapsulate decal within acrylic/hard gel for best results.
4. Enjoy stickers with a glossy or matte finish.
My stickers are not sticking, what should I do?
Your nail should have no oils, dust, or debris when applying stickers. Make sure to clean the nail surface with alcohol before laying the sticker.
Do I have to encapsulate my nail stickers?
Stickers do not have to be encapsulated but enough layers of topcoat must be added and cured in UV light to ensure the edges of the sticker are sealed. The nail should feel smooth with no distinction between the sticker and rest of the nail after applying top coat.
